岭南名中医李红毅教授基于中医理论，针对不同人群的生理特点，分别以儿童荨麻疹、女性痤疮及老年湿疹为例， 提出“小儿皮肤病患者注重调理脾胃，以通为用”“女性皮肤病患者尤重疏肝养血”“老年皮肤病患者需平衡阴阳”的辨证 论治思路。针对小儿形气未充、脾常不足的生理特点，临证治疗小儿皮肤病应重视脾胃功能的调理，对脾虚兼夹湿滞者可 采用参苓白术散合炒三仙（炒山楂、炒麦芽、炒莱菔子）以健脾通滞。针对女性以肝为先天的生理特点，提出需重视女性皮 肤病患者的肝气郁结及脾弱血虚的发病机制。针对老年人肾气已亏的生理特点，临证治疗老年皮肤病患者需重视补肾，但 需防温阳而害阴、补阴则损阳。 李红毅教授针对不同人群皮肤病的辨治思路可为皮肤病的中医临床治疗提供参考。

Based on traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） theory and taking the physiological characteristics of different populations into account，Professor Li Hongyi，a renowned physician in the Lingnan region，proposes syndrome differentiation and treatment strategies for pediatric urticaria， female acne， and senile eczema， respectively. These strategies are as follows：for the pediatric patients with skin diseases，treatment should focus on regulating the spleen and stomach，and stress on promoting stagnation；for the treatment of female patients with skin diseases， more attention should be paid to soothing the liver and nourishing blood； for the treatment of elderly patients with skin diseases， balancing yin and yang is more important. For the children have the physiological characteristics of insufficient physique and qi and spleen function being often insufficient，clinical treatment of pediatric skin diseases should prioritize regulating spleen and stomach function. For cases of spleen deficiency complicated with dampness stagnation，Shenling Baizhu San plus stir-fried triplet of stir-fried Crataegi Fructus， stir-fried Hordei Fructus Germinatus， and stir-fried Raphani Semen can be used to strengthen the spleen and relieve stagnation. For the women have the physiological features of the liver being considered as the congenital foundation， it is stressed that attention must be given to the pathogenesis of liver qi stagnation and spleen weakness with blood deficiency in female patients with skin diseases. For the elderly have the physiological characteristics of kidney qi being often deficient，clinical treatment of senile skin diseases requires emphasis on tonifying the kidney， while preventing harm to yin from warming yang or preventing injury of yang from supplementing yin. Professor Li Hongyi’s diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for skin diseases in different populations will provide references for the clinical practice of TCM in treating skin disorders.
